What is ECU remapping?

Simply put, ECU remapping involves overriding the default settings on your vehicle’s internal computer to allow it to achieve greater power, better torque or improved fuel consumption.

Will a ECU remap affect my insurance?

Today, insurance companies are becoming increasingly tolerant of remapping jobs on all types of vehicles. However, you will need to inform your insurance company of upcoming remapping work to avoid infringing the terms of your deal.

Will my vehicle use more fuel after a ECU remap?

If you drive “normally” after a car has been remapped, your engine will actually use less fuel than before. This is especially true if you opt for our economy remapping services. That said, if you intend to drive in “racing mode”, you will use more fuel.
